Our newest additions to Cait Kids have us California Dreaming! Discover the magic of Cait Kids' latest launch, designed to spark joy and imagination in every corner.
This collection is special to me because I am a California girl! I grew up in the Bay Area and always loved going down to Southern California- there is so much inspiration and creativity happening there. From whimsically chic wallpapers—including retro-inspired vintage cars, delicate floral borders, and breezy Laguna Beach toile—to colorful scalloped lighting, plush rugs, and charming new furnishings, our fresh pieces are crafted to create spaces kids (and grown-ups!) will love.
One of my favorite products in this collection is the Catalina Border Wallpaper. I am really into bringing back the border wallpaper these days- because how how versatile it can be. We styled it as a parallel striped pattern, but it can also be used traditionally-bordering around a ceiling or the edge of walls.
Some paint colors I would pair with it are: Calamine, Kakelugn, or Matchstick from Farrow and Ball.
Top secret info… we are currently working on an amazing project in California that we designed some of these pieces for, and now want to share with all of you just in time for summer! The Newport Rug is one of these fabulous creations- where has it been all my life! This rug is so classic and will be perfect in any girls’ room or playroom. Honestly, I would put it in my living room! I can’t wait to share how we styled it for our clients. More details on that project to come… it is coming together so beautifully!
